Camdenton Lakers – 0
In a game that started at a very high pace and never slowed down, it was the home team Eagles who were able to score. Sophomore Lauren Moats, a transfer from Louisville, collected a throw-in on the right side from Shelby Zielke before turning for goal and sliding her shot just underneath the charge of the goalkeeper (video). It was a well-deserved opportunity well taken after an evening of hard work and near misses. It also gave her new teammates only the second win they’ve ever achieved over the Camdenton Lakers, a team much like themselves that aspire to break through to the next level come District playoff time.
4th straight shutout by Kristin Miller and Eagle defense. Nixa’s record 3-1 (the loss was in PK’s to Parkview).
