From an article in the Post-Dispatch earlier today
Seats will be added on the field while some in the upper deck in right field won’t be sold, bringing capacity for the game to about 42,000. Bryant said they’re hoping for a sellout, with fans coming from outside the area to see the game.
Fitting a soccer field into Busch Stadium will be a tight squeeze. The field will run from in front of the visiting dugout on the third-base line, along the first-base line, to the right field stands. It will be just short of 100 meters long, the minimum allowable length for an international match, which would probably preclude playing World Cup qualifying matches here. But because this match is an exhibition game, being a few feet short is permissible.
Via MSSULions.com – The Missouri Southern Lions soccer team exploded for six goals on offense to pick up its third win of the year at Lindenwood this afternoon beating the Lady Lions 6-3.
The Lions (3-6-1, 3-3 MIAA) were led offensively by senior forward Megan Stueve who had two goals on the day, her sixth and seventh of the year. With Lindenwood getting on the board first with a goal in the sixth minute of action, the Lions quickly responded when junior midfielder Tiffany Laughlin notched her first goal of the season in the 13th minute tying the game at one.

Southern took a 2-1 lead into halftime when senior midfielder Candis Clark notched her second goal of the year in the 28th minute. With the Lady Lions tying the game at two in the 55th minute, Southern responded with four goals in a nine minute stretch in the second half to make the game 6-2 and put the game out of reach for Lindenwood.
With an assist from Clark, senior forward Cortney Sanders notched her first goal of the year to make the game 3-2 in the 63rd minute. Stueve then recorded her two goals on the day within 1:32 of each other to make the game 5-2 in the 67th minute. With sophomore forward Katelyn Roberson substituting in for Stueve in the 71st minute , Roberson quickly got in on the action scoring her first goal of the year off a corner kick from Sanders in the 72nd minute to give Southern their sixth goal of the day. Lindenwood would tack on a goal in the 80th minute to make the final 6-3.
The Lions return home next weekend when they continue MIAA play hosting Central Missouri Friday evening at 7 p.m. and Southwest Baptist on Sunday at 1 p.m.
