Derek A. Medlock, 24, a senior in civil engineering at Missouri S&T who was assisting the athletics department as a coach with the men’s soccer team, was killed early this morning (Friday, Oct. 10) in a traffic accident on Forum Drive in Rolla. A second student, Joshua C. Roach, 23, suffered serious injuries in the accident.
