2011: The programs first year, the season opened in Rolla with a 0-9 loss to the Bulldogs. The Tigers returned home for their home opener on Thursday March 24th. The ladies fought hard, losing only 1-2 to the Waynesville Tigers. Freshman Sara Marcotte scored the program’s first ever goal from the penalty spot in the 11th minute and the Tigers held the lead for 20 minutes until giving up two goals in the final 9 minutes of the half. The first win of the season came Thursday March 31st against Class 1 Mt View Liberty, a program that is in it’s fourth year. Shelby King scored two goals, Sara Marcotte added a goal and four assists, as the Lady Tigers soccer team won for the first time ever, 6-3
