Missouri High School Girls Soccer Coaches Poll #2

The Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) have released their second regular season poll of the season. Let’s take a look at the changes…

Visit my St Louis site, SoccerSTL.net for an overview of the KC-St Louis schools.

Girls Soccer Poll #2 17-Apr-2014

Nixa has solidified their position in the Top 4 in the state, a well deserved level in my estimation.
Points fall pretty rapidly after that but the Top 5 otherwise remain the same except for the switch at the top where St Joe drops to #2. Glendale moves up a spot but it’s Jeff City that could be there come Quarterfinals.

Visitation has solidified their position at the top of Class 2.

In Central Missouri, District 10 will pit Helias, Rolla and Bolivar in the chase for hardware. The winner will face a strong Union team in Sectionals. Union will remember the OT loss to Helias last year and that hunger may be the primary difference.

Class 2

Defending champions Duchesne move to the top spot in the polls as St Pius X (Festus) settle into the #2 spot, the two teams who played in last years Final. Fair Grove has gotten off to a good start in their District but Springfield Catholic continues to be the team to beat in Southwest Missouri.
