Rolla Grabs #2 Spot in Latest Missouri Coaches Poll

GK Gage Scurlock celebrates a Rolla goal with Captain Nate Kramme

The Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) have released their second regular season poll of the season. Class 3 sees the biggest changes.

Class 3 – The Rock Bridge Bruins jump from #6 to the top spot in the second poll at the same time as they are grabbing headlines in St Louis at the CYC Tournament. Timing was good on this poll allowing the first two games to be taken into account. Chaminade went from #5 to #3, two spots behind Rock Bridge but the CYC Tournament is going to let us see how good the Coaches Poll is. You can see #1 Rock Bridge vs #e Chaminade tonight (Friday) at 8pm. Prior to that #2 CBC will face off against SLUH at 6pm. Games are at the Soccer Park in Fenton.

Class 2 – The biggest changes are below the undefeated Crusaders, also defending Class 2 champions. Rolla jumps to #2 following their Parkway West Tournament championship while Carthage moves up behind them after their successful weekend as well. I covered their success and it seems the Coaches saw it. Parkway West falls two slots as their difficult schedule has still led to an 8-3 record.

Class 1 – Southern Boone County (SoBoCo) maintains their #1 but John Burroughs moves up to #2 ahead of Springfield Catholic.
