The U.S. is coming off a 1-0 victory against Guatemala on Thursday, April 11, to win Group C to set up the match against Honduras, which was the runner-up to Mexico in Group D. The U.S. is the only country to advance to every edition of the World Cup while Honduras has qualified for two FIFA U-17 World Cups (2009 and 2011).
On Sunday, following the USA-Honduras matchup, Mexico (Group D winner) faces Guatemala (Group C runner-up) at 9 p.m. ET at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City. All knockout round games in the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship are broadcast on FOX Soccer and Univision Deportes. The tournament’s four semifinalists will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates from Oct. 7-Nov. 8.
