Drury Panther Assistant Coach Andrew Bordelon is set to take over the Westminster Blue Jay’s soccer program according to a tweet by his current boss, Ryan Swan.

He replaces Martin Clayes, whose team lost in the SLIAC Championship and finished 10-7-2 this year.
He joins Jen Dyson, also a Drury alum, who coaches the women’s team.
From his Drury Panthers bio – Andrew enters his second season with the Panthers coaching staff this season after completing a stellar four year career and helping the Panthers to their best record in school history (21-2) in 2009. Andrew started all 23 games in 2009 and was third on the Panthers with nine goals and second with six assists. Bordelon had game winning goals at Truman State, at Rockhurst and vs. Southern Indiana. The 5-9 midfielder from Bedford, Texas earned Daktronics First Team All-Midwest Region honors and was a Daktronics Honorable Mention All-America honors his senior season. Andrew also earned Third Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors. Bordelon had a pair of goals and four assists as a junior and had two goals and five assists as a sophomore.
