FOX Soccer’s new original series My Beautiful Game, premiering Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1:30 p.m. The six-episode series airs following live FA Cup action, starting with the premiere on Jan. 5 after live third-round action between West Ham and Manchester United at 11 a.m. on KRBK Fox TV.
Through archived clips, pictures and commentary, each episode of My Beautiful Game explores a new and different theme from some of soccer’s most storied events. The series premiere features guests weighing in on his or her “Greatest Goals,” with following episodes covering the greatest FA Cup moments, players, saves and stadiums, as well as the worst own goals, from the sport’s past.
Episodes feature current players, such as U.S. Men’s National Team stars Clint Dempsey (Tottenham), Tim Howard (Everton) and Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), former LA Galaxy and Manchester United skipper David Beckham, former Chelsea talisman Didier Drogba, as well as former England international and Barclays Premier League players Gary Lineker (Tottenham), David Seaman (Arsenal), and former Welsh international midfielder Vinnie Jones (Wimbledon).
