Former Zizzer Takes Helm at Presentation College

Good news from the Eastern front as West Plains Zizzers alumni Jacob Plocher has been hired as Head Women’s soccer coach at D3 Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD. Plocher was a 3-year Varsity Letter Winner at West Plains High School (2001-2003). He was named 2nd Team All-District Midfielder in in 2003. That’s a photo of Jacob as a senior above, I had to do it. He graduated from WPHS in May 2004. You can read more about the hard work he’s put in to reaching this goal at ZizzerSoccer.com.

Here’s the press release from Presentation College where he begins his new role today.

Coach Plocher comes to PC having been the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Kansas Wesleyan University. His job duties included recruiting student athletes, organizing tactical training sessions and strategizing game plans with Head Coach Mike Dibbini, who believes that experience will serve him well. “Jake is a go getter and a team player. He has the experience to recruit, retain, and get results. I am excited to see this young man flourish. I wish him the best of luck.”

Presentation College will be moving to NAIA next year and Coach Plocher can be contacted at jacob.plocher@presentation.edu

Congratulations as well to Head Coach Nick Schmidt, who continues to build a soccer tradition in Howell County, including alumni coaching at the Marshall Owls and Jessica Brixey Bell at Liberty Mt View Eagles.
