SPRINGFIELD S.C. 98/99 I wins 3-0 over KOLPING KICKS SC PREUSSER (STL). They advance to a Final on Wednesday at 9am against SLSG Elite.
U15 Boys
SLSG PREMIER NAVY 96/97 wins 1-0 over SLSG PREMIER GREEN 96/97 to advance to the 9:00 am Final on Wednesday on LCS #10. They will face Futura FC Inter.
FUTURA FC INTER 96/97 BLUE wins 2-1 over SPRINGFIELD S.C. 96/97 I. The game winner was scored in the 78th minute on a broken play, as SSC had the momentum and was pushing forward after tying the game just two minutes earlier. On a set piece into the box, a long clearance by Futura was reached by the SSC defender who’s back pass to the keeper lacked pace. Jacob Gowan of Futura got around the defender’s attempt to shield him and reached the ball simultaneously with the on-rushing keeper who attempted to clear the ball. It deflected off of Gowan and somehow rolled just inside the right upright, 30 yards away, for the winner. Gowan scored the first in the 10th minute.
