Yep, that’s former Bear Lance Parker in the #1 spot. He’s now playing for FC Edmonton in the NASL (one level below Major League Soccer). From his bio on the site
Parker, a native of Oklahoma City, already has NASL experience with Miami FC (now Fort Lauderdale Strikers), as well as a two-year stint with Chivas USA in the MLS. Before signing with Miami, Parker played for Missouri State for four years where he was named First Team Academic All American.
Lance appears to be recovered from major surgery on his arm and elbow. Parker suffered a compound fracture of his right arm in a game against the Carolina RailHawks on June 11, 2011 and spent the off-season working one-on-one with a coach down in Florida to get himself back in game shape. Per the website, Parker and Canadian keeper David Monsalve will duel it out for the starting job in 2012.
Lance is enroute to Edmonton now, having left Miami two days ago by car. The season runs from April to September and you can catch games from Texas, to Florida, North Carolina and North. Check it out if you’ll be doing any travel.
