Girls High School Districts Announced, Big Changes!

With the move to create Sectional games at all three Class levels, the impact at the Girls District levels is even more interesting than it was with the boys. Biggest changes? The Lady Vikings of Parkview head West to join District 12 while the Lady Liberators of Bolivar head North to join the Kansas City area squads.

    Totally agree. Class 3 District 11 is easily the toughest from top to bottom, but the wealth seems to have been spread a bit more by moving Parkview. Makes complete sense, why not spread that talent out a little? This takes a consistent #3-5 from District 11, and most likely makes them a #1-3 in District 12.

    Wonder if they will move Class 2 District 12 Championship games North to the KC area with the new alignment seeing as a majority are now there. Sure would be nice to play on an all weather field with all the rain we’ve had the last two years.
