One of the staples of fall and the primary fundraiser for DU’s sports programs, the ninth annual Drury Athletics Auction, will make its debut in the new O’Reilly Family Event Center this coming Saturday night.

The auction will once again feature more than 700 items of both the silent auction and live auction variety on an evening that begins with the doors opening at 5 p.m. as the event moves to the new $13.5 million O’Reilly Family Event Center for the first time.

Tickets are $20 for individuals or $35 per couple, but DU boosters are again encouraged to purchase one of the popular “Cash Bash” raffle tickets as their means of entry at the door. One $50 “Cash Bash” ticket entitles the holder to two free admissions to the auction in addition to putting them in the hopper to win up to $5,000 in cash prizes drawn throughout the evening.

One item that is available includes a signed Thierry Henry Red Bull NY jersey, donated by Tim Ream. Tim is a starting defender for the MLS Eastern Conference leaders, a 2010 graduate of SLU and older brother of Logan Ream, a freshman on the Drury Panther’s soccer team.
