KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Top-ranked Concordia (Ore.) and three other top-five teams held intact in the second edition of the 2010 NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Tuesday. At least one first-place vote was awarded to the top-four squads, with Concordia earning 16 for 617points. Azusa Pacific (Calif.) checks in at No. 2 with three first-place nods and 602 points. Third-ranked Lee (Tenn.) recorded a pair of first-place votes for 583 points and No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan earned the other first-place vote for 563 points. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) climbed up one spot and is ranked fifth.
#18 – William Jewell Cardinals moved up one spot and are now 4-0-0. The team includes two time WJC Scholar Athlete Megan Garrad, a 2008 Glendale graduate
#19 – John Brown Golden Eagles (Ark.) moved up from #24 while opening the season with a 2-0-1 record. The team includes freshman Alysan Burgbacher from New Covenant.
