The Chief’s senior class – Lauryn Young, Emily Brooks, Megan Melugin and Hilary Carr – picked an opportune time to get their first win in four years against their peers at Glendale.
The Chiefs will play the Nixa Eagles in the Final tomorrow, Saturday at 6:30 pm, at JFK Stadium

It is a shame for everyone involved that the game could not be completed on the field.
It is sad that we can't get this right in spite of the rule book.
Well, isnt that just great. What a impossible to believe end to a great season for the Lady Vikings. Makes you wonder what would have happened if the game in question was between our two south side schools instead. Would we have had the same outcome?
I guess that is why they have rule book's. I am sure that both teams are upset that the game could not have been played out.
Why begin such an important match if the ability to finish is in question? Great season for the Lady Vikings.
As a parent of a PHS Senior, I think the ability and option to vent was necessary. But that time is past, and two teams have a soccer game to play. I hope both teams, particularly Nixa, can focus on soccer today and both play to the best of their ability.
PHS players do not harbor any ill will with the Nixa players, they congratulate them and wish them the best tonight.
