Southwest Missouri Class 3 Regional Girls Soccer Poll

The final regional poll of the Missouri Soccer Coaches in District 11 and 12 point to the strength of District 11 with the top 5 teams all coming from that District, in the same order as the seeding for their upcoming District playoffs. According to Head Coach Clint Nurnberg, this is the first time that the Lady Vikings have been ranked this high in the region.

1. Parkview (12-2) 45
2. Glendale (9-4) 36
3. Kickapoo (9-9) 27
4. Ozark (10-10-1) 14
5. Nixa (12-4) 13

There are still some interesting games remaining although coaches will also be looking at recuperating key players that may have injuries.

Ozark visits Parkview tonight. If they can get past Nixa in the first round of the playoffs, they’ll face Parkview Wednesday May 19th in the second round (SPS graduation ceremonies are Monday and Tuesday that week).

Glendale has two big games next week when they host Kickapoo on Wednesday and travel to Springfield Catholic on Thursday. That game in particular looks to have become the bragging rights game for regional supremacy as well as the final tuneup for both teams, so expect fireworks.
