The survey consists of questions that will help U.S. Soccer get a better sense of ussoccer.comâ€™s users while also providing fans the opportunity to give direct feedback. The information compiled from the survey will allow U.S. Soccer to make improvements to our fan programs and deliver an enhanced experience for fans on ussoccer.com.
Similar to past years, the survey can be accessed from ussoccer.com and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Fans over the age of 13 who complete the survey will be eligible to enter into a random drawing to win a prize pack from U.S. Soccer, containing an assortment of U.S. Soccer gear.
Last year brought a re-launch of ussoccer.com, with the new site featuring a new community section and revamped media center, among other improvements. U.S. Soccer was able to tailor the enhancements of its new website to its fans based on the completion of previous surveys on ussoccer.com.
The re-launch of ussoccer.com brought a new focus on community involvement for fans, with forums and article comments allowing new levels of discussion on the website. U.S. Soccer has also developed a presence on other social media platforms. The Official U.S. Soccer page on Facebook continues to grow while twitter.com/ussoccer provides another source of information and unique content for fans who follow the national teams.
While the U.S. Men’s National Team completed its successful run to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, ussoccer.com continued to expand its impressive library of video content for fans and media. Videos chronicling the USA’s trips to Mexico City and Honduras drew a particularly large viewership as fans sought to stay abreast of the Men’s National Team’s quest to qualify for a sixth consecutive World Cup. As the team heads to South Africa in June, ussoccer.com will continue build a community built around unprecedented access to national teams and a fan-friendly environment.
