How did Fatima, Stover, and Linn get so many all state kids but crocker who won the district only got 1??
Understanding that polls are just conversation pieces:
To Crocker soccer: That explains why your coach got COY!!
On the Goalkeepers; Stats for all post season games;
Milsap, Springfield Catholic 1 goal allowed in 5 games,
Spann, Whitfield 3 in 5
Cook, St. Pius KC 4 in 5
Schweppe, Kennedy 7 in 6
Add a yellow card, only 6 shutouts and a > .8 gaa against a schedule win/loss under .500 and what do you get?
Schweppe, Goalkeeper of the Year!!!
Crockers coach got coach of the year because we were the only public team in class 1 to win the district and finished at 16-3. We lost to Catholic, Rolla, and Linn. But Crocker also beat Linn this season too. So COY was deserved by Richardson
