Thanks to more than a decade’s worth of FAB 50 rankings, we have a pretty good handle on they top high school teams of the past decade, but it’s open for discussion.

Today, ESPN RISE lists five teams worthy of high placement on any list of great teams from the last 10 years, but if you know of a program that should be included, e-mail Sheldon.Shealer@espn.com, and don’t forget to include why that team should be considered. ESPN RISE will run a complete list that includes legitimate write-ins in the last week of December. Chaminade (St. Louis, Mo.), 2001

Chaminade finished as No. 2 in the FAB 50 in 2001 behind St. Benedict’s, but shared the national title in the NSCAA rankings. Chaminade led the nation in victories that season with a 31-1-0 record. Chaminade blitzed the field at the Missouri state championships, defeating Rockhurst and Oakville by 4-0 margins. In the title win over Oakville, Tim Collico scored twice while Kyle Hency and Matt Hoff added goals. Chaminade’s lone loss that year was a rain-halted decision to Rockhurst, which Chaminade overwhelmed in the state semifinals. Collico was the team’s MVP and was an All-American selection that season.

Interesting take on the list, Collico went on to play at SIU-Edwardsville while Matt Hoff earned Rookie of the Year in the Ivy League at Harvard. Matt’s brother Tom is an assistant for the Springfield Catholic boys team that just finished 2nd at State (pictured with arms crossed)
