What about Kaleb Romero from Nixa HS? He should be in the top 10 or 15.
In the interest of objective reporting, it should be noted that (at least) one school has included in the boys’ totals those goals that were converted penalty kicks at the end of tie-breaking games. When (at least) one coach chooses to use this inflationary method of tallying the boys’ stats, it does a disservice to those boys who achieved their numbers from the field.
I would say if you know that for sure that someone knowingly stack their stats then you should just say who you are talking about – otherwise it just makes some people question other teams that may have worked hard to present their stats correctly.
Can i point out that Teddy Zeignbein Sophomore at Crocker had 24 goals and 9 assists
I have been running the Glendale Web site and posting the stats before anyone else in this are even thought about having a Web site and before I even had a kid old enough to be at Glendale.
We have always included penalty kicks in our team stats which we keep for our own purposes. Glendale played an unusual number of games that went to OT and penalty kicks this season, but we counted goals for our own purposes the way we always have.
If someone wants to go through the match reports and normalize the results, go for it. Scoring summaries for every game are online.
I don’t care if people are concerned that we aren’t comparing apples to apples, but please don’t go looking for ulterior motives.
I don’t know if we “submitted” our stats or if they were culled from our Web site.
Robert Martin from Marshfield high school should be #4 on that list with 25 goals and 9 assists. http://www.marshfieldmosoccer.com/mhs-boys-2009-statistics/ go to that link if you wanna verify that
Mauricio, Jose and Uriel all of them from Monett, they have been one of the best offensive squad that i have ever seen, I had the plesure to play with them and I as will as my team mates will missed them next season… GO CUBS….MONETT CUB #3
Matt Magana finished up with 21 assists and a total of 93 points on the season for the Liberators.
Mitchell Waters finished the season with 13 goals and 3 assists. The goal that is not up there was scored in the state semi-final.
