Missouri State men’s soccer sophomore Heath Melugin was named to the COSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VII First Team. Melugin has a 3.93 cumulative grade point average as a cell and molecular biology major.

On the field, Melugin has scored six goals this season, which led the team. Two of Melugin’s goals were game-winners. He has also recorded one assist. His 31 shots taken are third on the squad.

Last season, Melugin was second on the team with eight points (3 G, 2A). For his efforts, he was named to the MVC all-freshman team.
