Total Demize Soccer Club High School Boys Tryouts

Total Demize SCThe Total Demize Soccer Club has announced the dates for their upcoming tryouts at the TDSC High School Boys level. There will be three teams that TDSC will be placing high school club players on. Two college showcase competitive teams will highlight the HS Boys program, the U18 TDSC Scorpions, 2009 Missouri President’s Cup Champions and Midwest Region II runner-up AND the U16/17 TDSC Showcase team. There will also be a new U16-17 Competitive team that will compete locally in the High School Boys League team.

In 2008-2009 the Scorpions had great success, winning the John Talley Classic, LCS Dr Pepper Coca Cola Cup and were runners up at the President’s Cup Midwest Regional Tournament. Both the Scorpions and the U19 College Showcase teams won League Titles in their age group at the Heartland Division in Kansas City. The Scorpions are comprised of the top High School players from around the area, with large contingents from Bolivar, Kickapoo, Nixa, Ozark, and Parkview High Schools.

Bradley Stillwagon leads the way for the Bolivar players, as the captain was selected to represent the Springfield Demize in their first Premier Arena Soccer League season. Also featuring for the Bulldogs are Matt Magana, Mitchell Waters, and Kyle “Toad” Slagle. Kickapoo is represented by Jesse Speer who was selected as the captain for the Springfield Demize Premier Developement League Reserves team, and Ricki Wallenberg.

Kaleb Romero spearheads the Nixa HS boys, representing both the PDL and PASL first team for the Springfield Demize. Romero had a record breaking season on all fronts, breaking the most assists in a season, most assists in a career, most goals in a career, most assists in a game, and number one highest scorer in Nixa’s history, ending his career with the most points in Nixa’s history. Romero is joined by Nathan Massey and Charlie Fenwick from Nixa. Ozark’s representatives are Andrew Presnell, Zach Moore, and Skyler Foster. Parkview’s representatives include Jon Malter and Tanner Bennett, both of whom have Springfield Demize Reserve experience at the PDL and PASL levels.

The U16/17 TDSC Showcase team looks to follow in the footsteps of success the Scorpions and the U19 TDSC Showcase teams that have sent numerous athletes on to play at the next level, in College and the PDL. Adam Legg and Quincy Conduff, with PDL and PASL first team experience, now represent Hendrix University in Arkansas following graduation from Kickapoo. Jason Taylor and Robert Curtis, former Ozark Tigers, joined Rockford and Lincoln Memorial University, respectively. Marcus Fernandes, a former Nixa Eagle, guards the nets at Neosho CC, joining Willis Zirsky and Alex Dodrill, who were Marshfield Blue Jays. NE Oklahoma A&M have a large contingent of TDSC boys with brothers Erik and Lane Chapman, both with PDL experience and joined by TDSC teammates Matt Eubanks, Josh Maloney, and Nick Robinson.

7:00-9:00pm indoors at the Shrine Mosque
Tryouts is on hardwood floor, flat indoor shoes (no studs) are required.

Tuesday November 24th
7:00-9:00pm outdoors at Harrison Stadium (DRURY)
Tryouts are on Drury’s turf field, appropriate gear required.
