Kickapoo Chiefs – 1
Carthage Tigers – 0
A PK goal scored by senior Skyler Russell in stoppage time at the end of the first half was the difference this evening. The goal came as a result of a ball sent into the box by senior Ian Kennedy from near midfield. Sophomore Jake Nedoma’s run drew the goalkeeper out and drew the call on the defender, leading to Russell’s goal. Check it out below.

The winner’s of this evenings games – the Kickapoo Chiefs and Hickman Kewpies – will face in the Class 3 Quarterfinal on Saturday November 14, 1:00 pm in Waynesville, MO for the right to advance to the State Final 4 Tournament in Fenton which will be Friday – Saturday November 20-21.

The St Louis Sectionals are being played this evening as well. I plan on catching the St Louis Quarterfinals on Saturday since I have to be in St Louis for business on Friday and Saturday. If seedings hold, I should see a CBC vs Vianney match up and SLUH vs either McCluer North or Francis Howell.
