Crocker got on board first at 2:54 into game when Teddy Zeigenbein crossed a pass into the box and Jessie Tart finished it into the net. 14:23 into 2nd half Stover evened it up when a corner kick was headed into the net.
It was back and forth till regulation expired
Crocker completely controlled the O.T. not allowing one shot and keeping the Stover defense on its heels. Just 4:03 into the O.T. Cody Gibson won a 50/50 ball in the box and passed it to Erryck Uherka who put in the game winning goal. Rich Heenan had 19 saves for Crocker in goal
From the Waynesville Daily Guide: Crocker Advances
Playing shorthanded due to junior all-conference forward A.J. Imilkowski MSHSAA-mandeated one-game suspension for recieving a red card in Monday’s district game versus Belle, defender Erryck Uherka was moved to center forward for the overtime.
And Uherka, delivered, scoring his first goal of the season to win the game. He took a pass from Cody Gibson in front of the net and drove it home to give Crocker the victory with five minutes left in the first overtime.
“We escaped,” Richardson said. “It was just a hard-fought, back-and-forth game for both sides.”
