The Central Missouri Class 1 District 5 seeding is complete. The winner will play in the Quarterfinals against the winner of the Southwest Missouri Class 1 District 6 champion. The host is top seed Fatima, based in Westphalia (on Highway 63 South of Jeff City). The Comet’s are defending District champions and lost 0-1 to Springfield Catholic last year in the Quarterfinal game. The Comets have a regular season game against #2 seed Stover today at 5:00 pm. Should be a good preview, don’t you think? Stover has played Southern Boone, Rock Bridge, and Hickman this season while the Comets have faced off against Southern Boone.
