Sunday Women’s GLVC Soccer Report

Bellarmine Knights – 1
Bellarmine pushed across a goal in the 77th minute to knock off No. 25 Drury 1-0 in a battle of Great Lakes Valley Conference women’s soccer contenders here Sunday afternoon. Lauren Triplett’s goal at 77:14 off a pass from Abby Schuhmann accounted for the only goal as Drury fell to 11-3 overall and 8-2 in the GLVC. Bellarmine improved to 10-2 and 8-2.

The Panther’s will host the Northern Kentucky Norse on Friday October 16th in an 11 am game. The two teams are 2 of 5 tied for the lead in the GLVC at 8-2 and the only two that will be playing another leader so there will be lots of attention on this game across the Conference.

Indianapolis Greyhounds – 0
The Hawks win moves them into a tie for 2nd place in the GLVC, at 8-2, while Drury is at 8-1 with today’s game to be played
