Games will be two 40 minute halves with 10 minute halftime. In case of tie, regular MSHSAA overtime procedure will be played. The team listed first will be the home team and wear light uniforms. Every effort will be made to provide ball people, but each team should be prepared to provide one. A trophy will be awarded to 1st place. Teams may warm up on the practice field and then a short warm-up on the game field before the match. If the weather conditions are not favorable and our field saturated with water, we may cancel the 5th/6th and 3rd/4th place games and only play the championship after pool play.

It is Bolivar’s Tournament and it is their right to set it up how they choose. That said, there may be any number of reasons as to why it is set up the way it is: 1) Some teams may request to not play each other in the first two games (Warrensburg and Bolivar already played or Bolivar and Marshfield are in the same conference and are scheduled to play twice already) , 2) Some schools may have requested to play specific teams, 3) Some schools may not be able to play on Thursday or Friday for some reason, 4) They chose the best matches for their team needs, 5) Some other reasons that we may not know about.
And no I am not from Bolivar or any of the participating schools, just stating that the general public doesn’t always know everything that goes on in setting up a tournament. Good Luck to all the teams.
