I’m going to try and get out to the two late games so look for photos. An observation – of these six teams, only one was ranked/seeded coming into the tournament. What do you think, could that be an indication that there is a reason we play the games, and the MYSA policies that have decreased participation by more than 1/2 is a failure?

Surely you jest…MYSA do something that wasn’t in the best interest of the majority of youth soccer in the State of Missouri. The single elimination format is offensive and did exactly what “certain interests” wanted. Heaven forbid it be about giving young athletes a chance to play in a positive environment and allowing EVERYONE an equal chance to compete.
It is obvious what a good idea this is by looking at the number of teams playing this year…well done MYSA, keep up the good work!
