Jeff City Jays Get Past Kickapoo ChiefsKickapoo Chiefs – 1
Jeff City Jays – 2
In a game that meant nothing to either team outside of finishing the regular season well, it was a choppy affair on the South side tonight. The Jays got a pair of goals, from Kara Steiner and , assisted by Kelly Strope in both cases. The Chiefs got one back before the half ended. The second half was back and forth, with both teams coming close but unable to convert. The best opportunity was a header by Kinsey Shouse off a corner kick that was initially parried by senior Shannon Johnson before diving on the rebound.
