The men’s and women’s soccer programs at Missouri S&T have announced the dates for its kids camps for the upcoming summer. The teams will be hosting two different camps for area kids the week of July 20-23.

The first one it will be hosting is the Kiddie Kickers camp which is for boys and girls ages 3-5. The camp is limited to the first 50 kids that sign up and costs $30 per camper. The camp runs from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday that week.

The other camp the teams will be running is for boys and girls ages 6-12 and immediately follows the Kiddie Kickers camp beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m. The camp is limited to the first 50 kids that sign up and costs $50 per camper. A $10 discount is available for enrollment of two or more children from the same immediate family. Each child then pays $40 for the camp.

Both camps will be held on the Missouri S&T campus with thee primary location of the camp being the S&T soccer field but in case of inclement weather it would be moved inside to either the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building or Miner Rec which is located right across the street from Bullman.

The camp is designed to focus on fundamentals in a fun environment. Campers will be grouped based on age and ability. Age appropriate drills and games will be implemented to create a comfortable learning environment for each group.

Campers that attend the Missouri S&T Soccer camp will be rewarded by gaining free admission into every Missouri S&T home soc-cer game when they wear their camp T-shirt and are accompanied by a paying adult.
