Congratulations to Coach Clint Nurnberg who earned his 200th career win Monday evening against Branson (guys and girls combined). The Vikings were 19-7-0 going into tonight’s game, meaning he and the team are 20 game winners this season.
UPDATE – Oops. It’s still at 189, the ladies are going to have to win 11 or more this Spring
And congratulations to senior Tim Griffin (pictured being congratulated after his OT winner against Rockwood Summit) who broke the Parkview Vikings career scoring record in the game against Branson with two goals, taking him to 93 total. He was tied with Patrick Carver, now a D3 All-American at Emory University, going into the game. He also broke Carver’s single season scoring record of 36, reaching 37 this season with his two goals. Well done Mr Griffin.

I don’t mean to take from Tim’s great Accomplishment, but I do know Patrick Carver’s Single Season Goal record is 38 not 36. None-the-less Well done Tim I hope you get it tonight against Glendale. GO VIKINGS!
Bill, not sure where you’re getting your information from, but I’d have to say that I think your numbers are incorrect. As a Parkview varsity assistant coach (and an ex-Parkview player who played with Patrick 2 years), I have not only double and triple checked all records but also personally talked to Patrick twice. If you have any questions or concerns about records, etc., feel free to contact me at joseph.m.florez@gmail.com as I have all of the available PHS records in my possession.
