A pair of goals, in the 42nd and 43rd minute, against the run of play, point to how cruel a game futbol can be. The Panthers best opportunity came in the 5th when Steve Wilczewsli won a footrace on the right side. His run into the box, and ball slotted to the far post, just outran Marco Cherisma’s attempt to reach it. A series of corner kicks, set pieces and shots from 18-30 yards out with the wind achieved nothing the remainder of the half.
