Glendale Falcons – 2
Rolla Bulldogs – 1
The Bulldogs came out prepared tonight from the opening whistle, allowing them to take the lead 90 seconds into the game when Tyler Sinnott was allowed to get past the defense where he calmly slotted his shot past the goalkeeper. It was only three minutes later and the Falcon’s multi-faceted attack sent Patrick Baltz streaking into the box on the right side. His ability to get to the ball and send it back across the face of the net allowed Devon Newport to tap the ball in over a fallen defender and goal keeper as the wet conditions sent them to the ground while attempting to react to the change in attack.
It stayed tied as both teams called on their defense to keep them in the game. First the Falcon’s Ryan Squires blocks a shot on the line in the 49th. Then a Rolla defender (5? 23?) tracks back and saves a goal on Devon Newport’s shot inside the 6 yard box in the 59th. Bulldog’s goalkeeper Stephen Moorkamp stretches a long way to make the save in the 75th.
The Falcon’s finally break through in stoppage time as Patrick Baltz tips a ball past the keeper for the game-winner (pictured above).

Fatima came to Dixon today for a hard fought game. they have played before at Fatima and Fatima took it 3-2 in a really good game. Dixons a beat up team right now but that didnt make them back off one bit. At half the score was 1-0 Dixon and at last min of the game Fatima got a free kick and scored on a ball that went between the goalies legs. OT came then 2OT came and still 1-1. SHOOTOUT!!! Dixon won that to take the game. I have to say that the whole team of Fatima is a vary good team and i would look out for them to go far in Districts. There 2 strikers #13 and #14 are some of the fastest strikers i have seen. Dixons Goalie must of played the best game of his life and i would have to say he is a vary vary big part of y they won tonight way to go!! And Thank goodness Dixon has a few days to rest before the mexico tourny. Saturday bc all 3 of their starting fullbacks are out.
