Kickapoo Chiefs - 1
Vianney Golden Griffins - 2
The Kickapoo Chiefs sent an early message tonight as Ryan Moses scored from just outside the 6 yard box in the 4th minute. He somehow found space between a pair of defenders and flicked a quick shot into the net from Caleb Collier’s fine ball on a set piece.
Vianney tied the game in the 20th when #24 hammered a shot from the top of the box, after a scramble in the box left Chiefs defenders calling for a hand ball. In stoppage time at the end of the first half, Vianney got the game-winner when #5 one-timed a ball sent in from the left corner that he met at the near post, redirecting the ball to the far post.
Kickapoo began pressing forward midway through the second half, necessitating a fine clearance in the 64th minute by defender Tyler Bennett, who tracked back to head a ball out that had gotten behind GK Chris Tombridge. It was a game that saw Vianney do what they needed to do to win the match as they come away with 3 wins over the best Springfield has to offer this weekend.

Kickapoo Chiefs - 2
Blue Springs - 1
Much as they have most of the year, the Chiefs found a way to get past their KC opponent to move on to the title game. In a match that saw multiple yellow cards and its share of controversy, the Chief’s got a goal from the spot in the first half.
In the second half, Blue Springs matched the Chiefs with a PK goal of their own. Kickapoo got the game-winner from ? in the ? minute.

Glendale Falcons - 0
Vianney Golden Griffins - 2
The Falcon’s were their own worst enemies this afternoon, giving up a pair of goals on corner kicks, while unable to generate any significant offense of their own against the ‘gold wave’ of the Griffin’s defense. The first goal, in the 28th minute, deflected off a Falcon as the corner kick went to the far side of the box and the shot by #8 ended up in the side netting. More painful was the final goal, scored by arguably the best player in the tournament, #10 who was inexplicably left unmarked at the far post where he headed his shot past a stunned goalkeeper (pictured above).
