Sikeston got on the board in the 5th minute as Junior Stuart Strom one-timer off a cross from 20 yards out found the back of the net. That would be all of the scoring for the first half. In the second half the Zizzers came out strong offensively, moving the ball well. But it would be the Bulldogs who would add to their lead in the 4th minute.

Joplin Tournament

The Carthage Tigers defeated District foe Joplin 6-0 this afternoon to win the Joplin Eagles Invitational Soccer tournament. Cole Beckham had two goals for Carthage against Joplin. Adding a goal apiece were Jose Lopez (assisted by Phillip DeVillers), Adrian Salas, Lorenzo Salas (Joe Curti) and Christian Solis. Matt Robinson assisted on the first Beckham tally.

College Heights falls to Neosho 1-9
Carl Junction defeats Webb City 6-0
