Thursday Game Reports – Carlos Reyes Scores Branson Pirates First Goal

Cassville Wildcats – 10
Branson Pirates – 2
The Wildcats opened the defense of their District title with senior Uziel Franco netting 6 goals. Bryan Schroder, BJ Mcguffey and Nashe Lugeanbeal all scored as well. The Pirates first ever Varsity match included a pair of goals, both scored on set pieces, by Garegin Elchyn and Carlos Reyes with Marcelo Romero earning an assist. The historic first goal? Carlos Reyes scored on a header off of a beautifully served free kick from Marcello Romero

Carthage Tigers – 2
Carl Junction Bulldogs – 0
The Bulldogs open the season on their new artificial surface but Carthage doesn’t cooperate. The first half was a back and forth game and scoreless. The first goal came via a corner kick by Christian Solis, headed in by Joe Curti. The second goal was a PK by Cole Beckham after Matt Robinson was pulled down in the box. Glendale Falcons – 4
Ozark Tigers – 1
The Falcon’s spoil Ozark’s home opener on the new artificial pitch while opening with two wins in District 11. Goals were scored by Hunter Horton, Devon Newport, Alec Martinez and Ryan Partch for the Falcons. The Tigers goal was scored by Zach Moore late in the 1st half when the Tigers were down 0-3.

Waynesville Tigers – 3
Sullivan – 0
Sullivan’s defense held until the 69th minute when Brandon Kilthau scored for the Tigers, assisted by Ben Moore. They got two more, from Eric Iverson in the 70th via a corner from Kyle
Varner and Patrick Sweetsir, from Chris Beaudioun in the 77th.
