The Springfield SC U-14 and U-12 Boys teams both won their age groups at the Metro Strikers tournament in St Louis recently. The games were held at the Sportport fields in Maryland Heights.
The U-14 boys beat Metro Strikers in the finals to win the championship.
Pictured are the U-12 Boys who beat Metro Strikers in the finals to win their championship as well. The boys accomplished their feat without giving up a single goal in the four games played, scoring 5 while winning three games and tying one. Wins came against Sysmex and Gibilterra while tying St Louis SC. The final was a 2-0 win over Metro Strikers Mannion. The team is coached by Eric Sorlie. Photo provided by Russ White.
