Kaitlin Bramel To Play Soccer And Basketball at Fontbonne

Here’s a story we don’t hear often enough in this age of increasing specialization. Rolla High School senior, Kaitlin Bramel, just signed with Fontbonne University in St. Louis to play soccer AND basketball beginning in the Fall of 2008.

Kaitlin has been a force in both sports all four years and unlike her close friend Katie Pritchard, she wanted to continue playing both sports in college. I’m excited to hear she found an opportunity. I’m crossing my fingers there will be a game the weekend I visit St Louis to catch Emory take on Washington University when former high school teammates Patrick Carver and Josh Florez face off one last time. Fontbonne is just down the street.

  1. We have enjoyed you being a part of our soccer family these past four years and look forward to following your continued success at Fontbonne! You are not only a great soccer player and basketball player, but a great person! We are glad our kids got to see and know such a wonderful role model on and off the field! Best of luck!

    Coach and Angie

  2. Kaitlin, I have enjoyed watching you play the past 4 years and consider myself a fan of your game. You brought not only the work ethic that Rolla has always produced on the field but the leadership to inspire young players. I wish you all the best. Coach Rogers
