Just some quick updates from around the world on players who have moved on to a larger stage:
Matt Pickens (Missouri State 2003) is with Queens Park Rangers in the English First Division. According to Soccer by Ives, he’s out for the season with a separated shoulder.
The Clemson Tigers have released the news of their new signing. As noted here early,
CLEMSON, SC - Jesse Miech has been named an assistant men’s soccer coach for the Clemson University Tigers as announced by Head Coach Trevor Adair Tuesday. He’s already missed in this region.
Lance Parker (Missouri State 2008) is a member of Chivas US in Major League Soccer. He signed a developmental contract and is playing with the Reserve team. He’s played in both games, earning a 1-1 tie against Real Salt Lake and another 1-1 tie against FC Dallas. The team has a game at Houston on Sunday where we hope he’ll get the start, since that is as close as they’ll get to his parents home in Oklahoma City this season.
