LAKE OF THE OZARKS – Tri-County Lodging Association will spend $5,000 to determine if its feasible to partner with the Lake of the Ozarks Soccer Association to upgrade the recreational league’s fields for tournament play.
That’s the next step before the June election when TCLA is asking voters to approve a 3-percent increase in the lodging tax.
TCLA is interested in developing the lake area as a destination for soccer tournaments to bring in new visitors and generate additional revenue for the local economy.
