Warmth, blessed warmth! Could it be possible? It’s not nearly as reliable as Death and Taxes (the latter having my full attention for the next two days) but it sounds like a strong possibility. With that in mind, lets consider some of the games that will be available…
Tuesday - Rolla hosts Waynesville
Thursday - Lebanon hosts Waynesville
With Waynesville sitting at 4-0 atop the Ozark Conference, Lebanon at 3-0 and Rolla and Glendale at 2-1, we could either see the Tigers solidify their position or things will tighten. Any thoughts?
Weekend tournaments include West Plains, Sedalia, Lebanon, Capital City and the Waynesville JV Tournament. Kickapoo heads to St Louis to participate in the Ursuline Tournament.
The Missouri State Bears have a full slate this week. The women have a pair of games - Tuesday Missouri Southern visits at 7:00 pm while Saturday the SLU Billikens will play at 2:00 pm. The men host Missouri S&T (formerly UM-Rolla) on Thursday at 6:30 pm and Saturday will be Alumni activities. That will include a game, tentatively scheduled for 1:00 pm prior to the Women’s game.
The Drury Panthers have a full slate on Saturday. The Men will play a double-header, with UMSL at 11:00 am and Mid-America Nazarene at 2:00 pm. Nazarene features Matthew Gow (Lebanon 2007) in goal, so it will be a nice opportunity to catch one of his games. The Women host Southwest Baptist at 4:00 pm Saturday, a nice opportunity to see an MIAA Tournament Finalist (the Bearcats) against the NCAA Sweet 16 Panthers.
