A pair of tournaments and sunshine forecast all weekend - or at least through Saturday?
The Kickapoo Chiefs host the annual Kickapoo Shootout. I’m looking forward to seeing St Teresa’s (#2 from KC), Liberty (#6, KC) Lafayette (#7, STL), Jeff City (#12), Jackson (#13, Cape ), and Oakville (#14 STL) along with Class 1 powers Springfield Catholic (#6) and Notre Dame (#7, STL). The Glendale Falcon’s are also participating. Games begin at 4:30 pm with a pair of games at Kickapoo while Catholic hosts Parkway West at Cooper #2.
In the meantime, some fond memories for the Chiefs in advance of their tournament - the video features senior Paige Blotter after her game-winning PK against the Rogers Mounties (AR), who return for the Shootout this weekend. What do you think of my new experiment?
The Christian County Tournament is also scheduled for this weekend, hosted by Ozark Tigers and Nixa Eagles. I’ve updated my Calendar to reflect all of the games.
CANCELLED - see Jeff’s comment Saturday, the Missouri State Bears will play the Missouri Science & Technology Miners at Plaster in a Spring exhibition game. Start time is 6:00 pm.

The Bears vs Miners game has been changed. The Bears will be playing UCA in Conway, AR this Sat.
