The best option is behind the Taco Bell on National and Cherry, on the Northeast corner of the Missouri State University campus. Young or old, the odds of finding a game are usually very good on weekends. During the week, intramurals occasionally intrude although I’ve heard Tuesday night is pretty reliable.
For folks with a Facebook account, there’s the Springfield Soccer group you can join to get occasional updates like Saturday’s somewhat organized outing.
