Missouri High School Girls Soccer Practice Opens

Rolla Bulldogs Bray Sports ComplexGotta love Missouri and it’s always surprising weather conditions eh. Despite the conditions outside, exemplified by this photo of the Rolla Bulldogs pitch taken 24 hours prior to the first practice that will begin this afternoon, the girls are ready. I stopped by Lake Country Soccer when I returned to Springfield yesterday. With players from Catholic, Glendale, Kickapoo and others taking part in games at the indoor facility, the weather wasn’t a concern for the girls I talked to. Getting ready for what should be a very competitive season was.

Kickapoo, Rolla, Lebanon, Ozark, Joplin, Waynesville and Glendale will all be looking for hardware in Class 2. Class 1 welcomes Liberty (Mountain View) to District 11 where Greenwood returns for their second season, Willard hope to build on their District Final effort last year and Catholic continues to be the team to beat. Any one want to offer their early picks?backpage uae

  1. Class 1 District 11 will field many quality teams this Spring. While Catholic may be the early favorite, those days also may be numbered with the quality programs at Willard, Bolivar and yes, Greenwood on the rise. For Soccer Fans, games among these schools will be great fun. Here’s wishing everyone stays injury free.
