Good news from El Dorado, KS and Butler Community College (recent participants in the Springfield SC College Showcase event). I found out from Head Coach Adam Hunter that Katy Rodriguez (Neosho 2007 & Southwest All-Star) was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Player of the Year while also earning NJCAA 1st Team All-American Honors.
Katie scored 38 goals, with 10 assists, in twenty games while leading her team to a 13-5-1 record and the semifinals of the Region VI Tournament, where they were upset by Hutchinson. Congratulations Katie!
