Congratulations to Luke Prater (Kickapoo 2007, Springfield SC) who was named Rookie of the Year by the Wartburg College Knights. The award was announced at their banquet last weekend.
Prater started 20 of the 21 games he played in last year, as the Knights finished 15-4-2 and reached the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fifth straight year.
Prater was also named to the 2nd Team All-Iowa Conference squad, one of seven teammates who were recognized by the Conference. The photo is from Luke’s senior year at Kickapoo, in a game against the Trinity Titans. He’s #11 in yellow on the front right.
