Missouri State University handed out 1,264 degrees to students this fall during commencement ceremonies Friday at Hammons Student Center.
During the ceremony, the McQueary family — represented by Fred, Ramona, David and Rick McQueary, — received the university’s Bronze Bear Award for “extraordinary achievement and/or outstanding support” of MSU.The family is the eighth recipient of the Bronze Bear Award since its inception in 1998.
The McQueary’s are also very active in the Springfield Soccer community. The most visible face is that of John McQueary, Greenwood alumni and UMR alumni and player, currently assisting Chris Shull with the Greenwood Boy’s team. Congratulations!
