The men’s and women’s soccer teams at the University of Missouri-Rolla will host a three-day youth camp prior to the holiday season at the Student Recreation Center on the UMR campus.
The camp, which will take place Dec. 18-20, is open to all players ages 3-12 and will allow players to work on developing fundamentals in a fun environment. The campers will be grouped based on their age and ability.
The Kiddie Kickers camp for children ages 3-5 will take place from 4:30-6 p.m. on those nights and the cost will be $30. The Miner youth soccer camp for those ages 6-12 will run from 6-7:30 p.m. on those nights at a cost of $40. There is a $10 discount for two or more children from the same family.
Both camps are limited to the first 50 who sign up.
All participants will receive a camp shirt. Those taking part will need to bring a soccer ball, shin guards, a water bottle and appropriate footwear, either tennis shoes or indoor soccer shoes.
