theres no reason to get worked up about an award, there are plenty of past all staters sittin in there living room while 2nd team all conference kids play but that is just how it works

George, I’d have to say that Cassville’s run to state speaks to the quality of the teams play at the end of the season when it counted. That doesn’t necessarily translate to individual awards.

Trying to be objective here and not to take away from the play of those named to the first team All-State. There were many good players throughout the state including SWMO. However, I am a little suprised that the team that qualified to state from our area did not get any first team selections.

Congratulations Ryan and Uzi and all the Class 2, District 5 players who were named to the All-State team. Our competitive district continues to produce top players and it’s nice to receive some statewide recognition for southwest Missouri. Great job and good luck to all the seniors in your college pursuits next year.
